NZ Defence Force (Peace Keeping)

Via the New Zealand army peace keeping forces Weft supplies baby & children's merino singlets, which have been distributed to the most needy in the following countires. Afghanistan, Nepal, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Pakistan.

Since Weft was started in 1982, the owner has had a philosophy of supporting the local community, each winter Weft donates thermalwear and knitwear to the Salvation Army, City Mission and the Vincentian Recovery Centre.


180 Degrees

180 Degrees (Canterbury)

The 180 Degrees programme offers hard-end problem teenage youths a unique three phase course centred in the high country of the South Island. Strong, firm, well considered and decisive action is applied to equip these teenagers to make better choices in their lives.

The 180 Degrees Trust has completed two courses with the third underway on 2nd December 2008
